Ifeanyi Odii

Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii is a prominent figure in Nigeria, known for his multifaceted roles as a businessman, philanthropist, and politician. Born on April 17, 1975, in Isu, Ebonyi State, he has made significant contributions to both the business and political landscapes of Nigeria.

As the founder and chairman of Orient Global Group, Odii has established a reputation for excellence in business management. His political aspirations were highlighted when he became the gubernatorial candidate for the People’s Democratic Party in the 2023 elections, where he achieved a remarkable victory by securing 349 votes, far surpassing his nearest competitor.

Odii’s educational background is impressive and reflects his commitment to personal and professional development. He began his education at Isu-achara primary school and Isu secondary school, both located in his home state.

He later pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the National Open University of Nigeria. His academic journey continued with a Doctor of Science degree in Strategic Business Management and Corporate Governance from the European American University in Panama.

Additionally, he enhanced his leadership skills through the Chief Executive program at the prestigious Lagos Business School. His involvement in educational governance is notable, as he serves on the Lagos State University Governing Board and the board of the Nnamdi Azikwe University Business School.

Beyond his business and political endeavors, Odii is deeply committed to philanthropy through the Ebele and Anyichuks Foundation, which he co-runs with his wife. The foundation has made a significant impact by constructing over 130 homes for underprivileged families, building six churches, and developing a 2.2 km road in Magodo, Lagos.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation demonstrated its commitment to community support by donating 150 million naira to various government bodies and distributing essential supplies to those in need. Furthermore, Odii has prioritized education by providing scholarships to students in Ebonyi State, showcasing his dedication to uplifting his community and fostering future generations.
