Bishop Bob Jackson is the senior pastor of Acts Full Gospel Church , Oakland , California. He has changed many lives through his teachings and charity work. The Bishop alongside his wife Lady Barbara Ann Jackson are striving to make the world a better place.

Bishop Robert (Bob) L. Jackson. He is the senior pastor of Acts Full Gospel Church of God In Christ , 1034 66th Avenue, Oakland. CA. He was born on October 8th 1945 in Berkeley California in 1945. He is a native of the Bay Area.

Jackson attended the Oakland Public Schools, he graduated from Castlemont High School in 1963.In 1964, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1968. Bishop Jackson received an Associate of Arts Degree from Merritt College in 1970, and a Master’s Degree in Theology from the International Seminary in Plymouth, Florida. He also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from California State University, Hayward in 1973.

In May 1989, Bishop Jackson received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible Institute, Sacramento, CA. He also received a second Honorary Doctorate Degree from Saint Thomas Christian Divinity in 2005.

Bishop Bob Jackson answered God’s call to be a pastor in 1984. And led by the Holy Spirit, he founded Acts Full Gospel Church Of God in Christ in Oakland, CA with only 13 members. He is the founder and President Emeritus of the Pastors of Oakland Ecclesiastical Group. In April 2004, Bishop Jackson was consecrated as Auxiliary Bishop in the Church of God in Christ and is currently the National Director of the Soul Winning Department.

In April 2016, he was confirmed as the Jurisdictional Prelate for the newly ratified California West Coast Jurisdiction. He is also the overseer of the Chaplaincy Program in the prison system because of his strong compassion for our youths. He is the chairman of the OK Program for boys.

Bishop Jackson has successfully founded many entities including Acts Christian Academy, The Men of Valor Academy, Acts Anointed Acres, the Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce (OAACC), House of Ruth, Soul’s Restaurant and Charlene’s (family boutique).

He is also the founder and President Emeritus of the Pastors of Oakland Ecclesiastical Group. Bishop Jackson also started Acts Community Development, Inc. to develop 59 affordable housing units, Acts Cyrene Apartments. He is currently in the process of building another 58 affordable apartment units to accommodate residents in Oakland. Bishop Jackson is also the Overseer of the Chaplaincy Program in the prison system. He has a strong passion for our youth and is the Chairman of the Oakland Chapter OK Program for boys.

Bishop Bob Jackson is happily married to Lady Barbara Ann Jackson. They have seven children and eighteen loving grandchildren together.
