“Tithe the Tithe Initiative
“There’re smaller churches and organizations that minister to people in real and relevant ways that don’t have the resources [that ASBC has] and during this pandemic season of not being able to worship, some of them were struggling financially. So we took some of our 10% Tithes and established a Tithe the Tithe Initiative which identified a church and/or an organization in need on a weekly basis and donated money directly to them. And this is because…we realize that we’re not competitors, we’re brothers and sisters in the same line of work … and we’re here to support one another with no strings attached.”
