Wanda Elizabeth popularly known as Beth Moore is one of America’s most prominent evangelical women. Born Wanda Elizabeth Green, Beth Moore is an American author, evangelist, bible teacher and speaker. Moore was born on June 16, 1957 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States. She was raised in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and is the fourth of five children. Herself and her four siblings all assisted their father with running a local cinema from a young age.
Beth Moore experienced sexual abuse growing up as a child and this later led to her becoming an advocate for sexual abuse survivors. She is a BA holder in political science which she obtained from Southwest Texas State University.
Moore was raised in and attended Southern Baptist Church. For over 3 decades she has been the very model of the Church until March 2021 when she said in an interview that she was “no longer a Southern Baptist” and ended her partnership with Lifeway Christian.
She married Keith Moore in 1978 and they have two children together, Amanda Keith and Melissa Keith both of whom work at Living Proof Ministries with Moore.
Beth Moore Has Founded An Organization For God
Beth Moore is the founder of Living Proof Ministries, a bible-based organization for Houston Texas based women, that helps them to model their lives in line with evangelical Christian principles. She’s also the speaker at Living Proof Live women’s event across the Us.
On several occasions, Beth collaborated with Lifeway Christian Resources and conducted conferences.
Moore teaches through her radio show, “Living Proof with Beth Moore” as well as on her YouTube channel and she has delivered messages at conferences for women in numerous countries across the world.
