Archbishop Duncan-Williams Sermons – Being Fully Persuaded

Archbishop Duncan-Williams Sermons Being Fully Persuaded

Today’s message by Archbishop Duncan-Williams of the Action Chapel International Ministry is  titled “Being Fully Persuaded”.

There are things that will happen to the earth and it is all part of the signs of the end time. In the book of Luke 21: 26 this what the bible says – People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

In other for us to confront fear, we need to move from the point of belief to the point of being fully persuaded. (Job 19:25) The story of Job is an example that despite his plight, he held fast to God. His audacity is something his wife could not understand.

We cannot be fully persuaded by what you hear or think but you have to have a knowing. Knowing means that you have an experience or an encounter. You need an encounter with him to be fully persuaded.

The time we live in now needs us to be fully persuaded. That is the only way we will get to withstand the times we find ourselves in. 2 timothy 1:12 tells us that – That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day.

Persuasion or being persuaded is based on the premise of having a personal encounter or experience with God. The men of old took a stand that the rulers of their time could not understand and this because they have had an encounter with God.

A lot of people know God but you need an experience to have the audacity to confront the things we see in this tomes.

This is a message that you will learn a lot from.
