Archbishop Duncan-Williams Sermons – Building Capacity For The Future

Archbishop Duncan-Williams Sermons Building Capacity For The Future

Today’s message by Archbishop Duncan-Williams of the Action Chapel International Ministry is  titled  “Building Capacity For The Future”. The text for the message is taken from Genesis 41:28-30

Aside from the fact that the enemy can manipulate things to make us miss some kairos moments, we do not have what we love is because we have not developed the capacity for it. Any time God blesses you, it is time to develop capacity and invest.

No season is permanent because time changes. Power, money has expiry date, but only what God does is permanent. Whatever God does for you, it is not for you but for the benefit of others. This is what we see in the story of Joseph and his brothers.

The Archbishop in this sermon tells us that the problem you have helped to solve will determine if you will be remembered or not. Whether we will live or die is determined by what we do with the blessings of God. let us stop the attitude of living too comfortable today without considering the future because all these are not permanent. The bible gives us a great example using the ants in proverbs 6.

Whenever you get blessed, God is preparing you to be wise and prepare for a season. The ants gathers its food during the harvest in preparation for the winter. In Matthew 25 we also learn from the story of the 10 virgins. Do not be the foolish virgin. You need to learn to develop capacity for tomorrow.

This is a message that you will love.
