The text for the message is taken from the book of 2 Timothy 2:3, Matthew 22:29. In this sermon, Archbishop Nick reminds us that as soldiers we all have a weapon. Jesus too had a weapon and he deployed it when the time called for it. He tells us that the enemy has somehow convinced us to use his weapon to fight him, which cannot work.
Our weapon as Christians is the word of God and that was what Jesus used to defeat the enemy. We can not defeat the enemy with intelligence. Our weapon is what is written in the word of God. The word of God is a two-edged sword. It is defensive and offensive armor.
