The crux of this message is that the only way to have true mastery is to be driven by the spirit otherwise, you can be in Christ and still be carnal. Even the Bible tells us that by strength no man shall prevail. The Archbishop reminds us that being in Christ is not enough but we need to walk in the spirit.
Everyday we are faced with situation that will only take walking in the spirit to overcome. In the bible, a lot of great men succumbed because they did not walk in the spirit.
“The things which you do you not master will always conquer you”.
