The enemy has changed his battle plan and this new plan is instead of fighting us from outside, he brings it within. He discovered that everything he did from the outside does not work.
We have an enemy among us that we are not aware of. These enemies open up to them about our strength and weakness, thereby they become an avenue for the enemy to attack. One of these enemies is fear. Fear is what makes us open so that the enemy can come in, Therefore the enemy only has to make us afraid and that way he can attack. when fear comes, torment follows.
The second enemy within is offences. Anytime you are offended, the enemy has a foothold. Ephesians 4:27 tell us – and do not give the devil a foothold… If you give the enemy a foot hold, he will attack and defeat you because you are vulnerable. Whenever you get offended, you have given the adversary an Armour to attack.
Another enemy is confusion. Confusion does not come from God but from the devil. The devil creates confusion and wherever there is confusion and it is not tackled and eradicated, the next thing is destruction. Confusion and misunderstanding go together.
