Pastor Nick Nilson was born in Beloit Wisconsin. There is not a lot of information about his family. However, his early life revolved around football. It was his natural athletic ability and skill at the running back position that earned him several scholarship offers from Division 1 universities.
Unfortunately, Nilson’s college aspirations was put on hold, however, after suffering a severe knee injury. Accrding to Nilson, It would force him to reevaluate his future, and ultimately lead him on a journey to discover his purpose.
At age 18, Nilson left the path of partying and popularity seeking behind and set his sights on becoming a pastor.

Pastor Nick has been married for over fifteen years. He got married to his really beautiful wife Summer Nilson on the 12th of June 2004. She is also a member of Lakewood Church. Nick and Summer have two lovely children together; their names are Denver Nilson; his son and Haven Nilson who is his daughter. He lives with his family in Huston Texas.
CAREER/DEGREE
Pastor Nick went to Beloit Memorial High School and also Hononegah Community High School. There is no information about his university or his degrees as at the time of this publication. He attended college in Rockford Illinois.
MINISTRY
After attending college in Rockford Illinois, Nilson moved to Houston, Texas. He would serve as Lakewood Church’s youth and young adult pastor for 12 years before becoming the Associate Pastor.
Nilson Nick is a pastor at Lakewood Church. He has pastored there where the head pastor is Joel Osteen for over 12 years. Pastor Nick, pastors the youth and young adult session of the Lakewood Church. He was groomed in Lakewood Church where he taught everything about being a pastor and he became an intern in the Lakewood youth ministry, after the ministry tutored him.
His current role includes serving on Lakewood’s teaching team and aiding in the development of the church’s staff and ministry teams. He is also a consultant and public speaker with a large global following.
