Bishop Jackie McCullough Sermons – Wake Up And Be Ready

Bishop Jackie McCullough Sermons Wake Up And Be Ready

This new message by Bishop Jackie McCullough is titled ” Wake Up And Be Ready”.  This week 33 of the message series of “Christ in the Crisis”. The text for the message is 1 Thessalonians 5:8 which reads: But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

The whole world is currently in disarray and we are panicking amidst the chaos. We are greatly distressed because we were not prepared for what came our way.  This exhortation is to encourage us to be alert and be ready. The things we see now are signs that the end is near. We do not know when it will happen but we know it is near.

What do we do? How do we live our lives in anticipation of the coming of Christ? According to the scripture, we are children of the day which means that we are the children of light. The light of his word. The light of God’s guidance and truth. Don’t walk around as if you do not have the light in you.

Even in the aftermath of uncertainty, tension and questions about the future, the Christian can take comfort in knowing the One Who is Author and Finisher of it all! We are called to walk as children of the day and the light! We have Identity and Purpose! Therefore let us “Wake Up and Be Ready!,” for our Heavenly Father has prepared us in the midst of every circumstance! Draw nigh to Him and take comfort! We want to hear from you and pray for you!

Do not cover up your faith. Do not hide the light. Do not be ashamed of your light shining in the world. The scripture text tell us how we must behave as children walking in the light.

This is a message that you will love.
