The Bishop of The Potters House of Dallas said that if it didn’t, we wouldn’t spend so much energy avoiding this one thing we truly want and need. According to him, thankfully, the story doesn’t end there — for God loved us so much that He sent His beloved Son to hurt, bleed, and die for us. And we definitely did not deserve it. But even at our worst, God still loves us. We need to emulate Him, but it’s only possible once we’re filled with the Holy Spirit.
