Today, we bring you a message from Bishop T.D Jakes titled “How God Gives Influence”. Sometimes God creates trouble to give us influence, we ask God to remove the impediment but if God removes the impediment we won’t have the influence He wants to give us.
How we respond to our impediment is what gives us influence. We might be in season of trouble, things not going well, season of flood but God allowed that because He wants to make us better so that He can give us influence.
How we handle problems in our lives will determine the influence for the rest of our lives. This is because we are leading a group of people who have no point of reference … so God has simulated crisis to prove his promise that He will be with us like He was with Moses.
God allows trouble in our lives so that He can demonstrate His power in our lives and instead of rebuking the devil and pleading the blood, we thank God for the flood (trouble) in our life.
Because the flood (trouble) is a sign that the harvest is in process and the flood is a sign that God is about to give us influence beyond our wildest dreams because how we deal with this impediment will determine the influence that we will walk in the rest of our lives. As a matter of fact, if we don’t cross this trouble, we will never be in the position that God wants to give us.
Everything we gonna be depends on how we handle the flood in our lives right now. We can’t lead people to where we have not gone before, we can’t influence people if we have not overcome the flood they are facing now in the past.
