Bishop T.D. Jakes Sermon: The Bumpy Road To Better

Bishop T.D Jakes shares this new sermon titled “The Bumpy Road To Better” where he teaches that for every flourishing, there’s a famine that finds us. He said that life’s famines don’t define us; we do. We can choose how to react on the road to better, even when others have more, even when others mess us over, and even when we feel afraid of where to step. The Bishop of The Potters House of Dallas said that God put a special gift in each of us that awakens when we face adversity. This message is taken from the scripture Genesis 42:1-38 (KJV).

He sais he was watching something that really got his attention and it drove him to the 42nd chapter of the book of Genesis and he just started reading. Bishop Jakes said a lot of people teach about ‘better’ as if it were magic as if it would happen simply or easily. You could come up for prayer and somebody could anoint you with oil or lay hands on you and convey their spirit upon you without going through the process that they went through but in reality it’s not that simple.
