The passage takes us through what the disciples were going through at that time in the storm with Jesus sleeping in the boat. Bishop T>D Jakes tell us that you cannot evaluate what you have been through until you understand what you are going through. What you are going through will explain what you are going through.
He tells us about the two different kinds of Storms; the outer and the inner storm. Some are fighting inner storm or outer storm. When a storm has nowhere to drain, there will always be damage.
The attacks of the enemy will come like a flood, but you can rest assured that God has a strategy. He’s right there with you as you navigate the storm. God will use the opposition you’re facing to direct you to greater. If you’re struggling with an internal storm right now, don’t try to hold it all inside; have the courage to let the storm drain so you can boldly step into your destiny!
Again, he pointed out that the storms of life is an exercise in faith. The storm is a spiritual battle and we ought not to be fighting them with carnal weapons. The reason why the storm shows up in our life is to test the power of God. Your real power cannot show when everything is quiet. There is no way that the enemy will make it easy for us to cross over with ease and take over just like God has purposed.
