Bishop T.D Jakes shares this Sunday sermon titled “The Crises of Next”. In this message Bishop T.D started with the controversy concerning “Next”. This is because “Next” often obscures “Now” and that is because that we do not know what tomorrow brings. We can sense in our spirit that this is not where God wants us to be.
We can sense that there is something in the future that is greater than our present danger. The problem is how do we get there. Sometimes , all around us is chaos and agony but the truth of the matter is that we are more focused on God in our time of trouble.
Bishop Jakes went on to talk about how faith expresses itself in turbulent times. What does our faith look like in times of stress? In the Bible we see God telling Joseph to be strategic and he rewarded him for his strategy. We also see Jesus tell us not to worry about anything.
If you are you struggling to see what God has for you? He said your problem isn’t what you’ve survived; it’s figuring out what is coming.
Remember that God wouldn’t give you a painful apprenticeship if He hadn’t given you a powerful anointing first. Your doubt doesn’t diminish your faith. God has brought you to a place of Adullam — of refuge — so the next can come to you. Because of what you have endured, you have earned the right to lead. The Bishop of The Potters House of Dallas said your people are coming, your influence is coming and your next begins now.
This message is taken from the scripture: 1 Samuel 22:1-2 (NIV).
