Bishop TD Jakes Sermon – Trauma, Triggers, and Triumph

Bishop TD Jakes shared this new sermon and message titled “Trauma, Triggers and Triumph” on Sunday January 17 2021 and it is not a sermon you will want to miss. The senior pastor and founder of The Potters House of Dallas who is married to Serita Jakes herein teaches that nothing will ever be the way it was, and that people are positioned on two sides of the fence. He said one camp dances as the other weeps and the message is taken from the scripture: Ezra 3:10-13 (NIV); Haggai 2:6-9 (NIV).

Commenting on the service for the day, Bishop Jakes’ wife Serita Jakes took to Instagram to write:

“During today’s service, my soul was stirred when @BishopJakes said, “You cannot rejoice until you’ve come to the end of your tears.” Some of us have experienced so much trauma that we’ve learned to manage by keeping our mouths closed. Friends, we don’t have to suffer in silence; our healing is released when we dare to cry out.
