In this new year, there is a whole lot that we need to rebuild and restore. The question is are you a survivor or a believer? It is easy to take up the survivor’s mentality especially in difficult times. A lot of people are just hoping that fate will treat them kindly. They do not believe God for supernatural restoration and transformation like God wants him to. The difference between the survivor and the believer is perspective and faith.
God wants us to believe restoration and expectation in whatever area of our life. Pastor Brian gives us an analogy from the story of Job which is a perfect example of God’s restoration. The bible in Job 1 described him a s a good man. The question is, why did God allow him go through the hard times he went through. His goodness, faith and righteousness did not deter the enemy from trying Job. However, Job made a choice to keep believing God for restoration. That is what God wants us to do, have faith and believe for restoration.
God later blessed Job and that is because he kept faith and believed God for restoration. He wants us to endure so that he can bless us. He has a higher plan for us. There are a few things that you need to bear in mind.
The first thing as mentioned above is that there are times that crisis and challenges and difficulties will besiege you. This is what happened to Job but he kept on believing God. Do not lose your hope because outside of God we do not have any hope.
This is a message that you will love.
