The problem that some of us have is that we have chosen to live the opposite of God’s plan for our life. just like Jonah we keep running and run into the darkness as Jonah ran onto the belly of a hale. It was there he found God. Some of us will eventually get to the end of ourselves before we can get to the beginning of God.
