Pastor Dollars teaches us that no servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate one and love the other. We cannot serve God and mammon at the same time. Mammon is translated as money; Mammon is the name given to a Syrian god of riches and influence. Money is influenced by mammon, and mammon should be recognized as a spirit when it leads us to worship material possessions. If you find yourself trying to get more money than you need to get into the kingdom, you are under the influence of a demonic spirit called Mammon. The Spirit of Mammon is the demon behind the lust of the flesh, eyes, and pride of life.
Mammon will attempt to have you manage your resources, but you will remain in slavery. That is, you are managing your money, but you’re still in debt. Debt is driven by Mammon; if you allow yourself to be governed by Mammon, you will continue to manage your resources while remaining in debt. When you choose God, you will have access to his anointing, and if you choose mammon, you will have access to mammon’s anointing.
What is Mammon’s Anointing? Money is the anointing of Mammon. Satan wants to duplicate the anointing of God, so he brought money. You have to choose God because when you get his anointing, it will do supernaturally what money cannot. Some of us are so in debt that we need supernatural help.
The only thing God requires in his system is for you to believe him, because right believing equals right living. We are not the children of the natural; we are supernatural.
