Pastor Dollar teaches us that worship is a heart product; it is not a practice product, a training product, or a tradition product. We must give God our hearts, and we must do good things from our hearts.
We have to worship God out of our loyalty and commitment; worship is an inner God-word experience of the heart. In the old testament, where you worship was a big deal, but when Jesus died, everything changed. There was no need to go to a particular place for worship; the true worshiper shall worship the father in spirit and in truth because God wants such to worship him. We don’t have to go to church or any particular place before we worship God. We can worship in spirit and truth because Jesus died for us and he gave us the Holy Spirit.
We must learn to worship God from the inside out and get our hearts involved. We can worship God with our lips, but our hearts are far from him, and that is in vain. To truly worship God, we must do so with our hearts, not just our lips. The Holy Spirit lives within us to assist us in truly worshiping God with our hearts rather than our performances. We are going to see God one day, so we have to do anything from our hearts for the glory of God and not for the approval of man. We have to stay away from man-made ideas and see them as commandments from God. When we give our lives to God, we are given the gift of salvation, and we have to worship God from our hearts. The problem is that we take on the title of Christian, but our hearts are far from God. Our relationship with God should be real and come from our hearts, not just in church but in every aspect of our lives.
