Every man is right in his own eyes, but God weighs the heart. God looks at what comes out of our hearts. When he examines your heart, what will he find? We don’t have to live our lives doing the wrong things and thinking that’s right. God does not make decisions based on our knowledge or religion.Whatever good we do, we should make sure it comes from our hearts. We’re going to die, and we’re going to see Jesus. How is God going to weigh us? Is it determined by our heart or by our performance?
We must be Christians from the inside out, or else we are only Christians on the outside.God does not want us to be Christians because of our actions, but because of our hearts.Every denomination seems to have developed some traditions, and sometimes the traditions make the word of God of no effect. We should live by the word of God and not by tradition, condemning other people when they don’t live by tradition.
What are we using to make the word of God of no effect? We must change anything that is preventing God’s word from having an impact on our lives.We should not condemn others when we use tradition to tell them how they should not use God’s word.
What is worship? “It means to ascribe worth,” meaning placing value on God because he is more valuable than anything in our lives. We must be careful not to equate worship with singing and music alone. Worship is not merely about singing; it’s about reverence, value, and respect. Worship is the biblical fear of the Lord—humbling ourselves before God, who is better. Worship is what you do every moment of every day. It is demonstrating our loyalty to God. Worship is something we do every day, not just on Sunday.
