Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Creflo Dollar titled, “Eliminating The Bondage of Fear.” The text for the message is from the book of Job 3:25. Pastor Dollar teaches us that we don’t have to be subject to fear and that the choice is entirely ours to make. Fear and terror may be on the rise in the world and may even come against us, but they are powerless against those who have confidence in God’s word.
When we receive God’s word, we must keep it at the forefront of our minds at all times. When we have confidence in God’s word, fear will be powerless against us. Whatever you focus on or pay attention to will become a significant part of your life. We have to be careful about the things we give our attention to. If you allow fear to dominate your thinking by giving attention to your fears, those things will actually increase in your mind and your heart.
If we never counteract those negative thoughts and feelings with the word of God, they will begin to frame the way we see things and ultimately begin attracting the very thing you are afraid of. Your fear will keep you in captivity and torment you day and night.
Fear is an absolute disruption of the peace of God. In the life of every Christian, fear wants to disrupt and cancel the peace of God. We have to make a decision to keep our minds focused on what God says all the time. Fear introduces new fears; the greatest way to lower your immunity is to start worrying and get stressed out.
Fear is the faith of the devil, and when we tolerate fear, it will contaminate our faith. When we sense fear in our mind, we have to open our mouth and speak the word of God. We must communicate our fear so that it cannot enter and take up residence in our minds. We must deal with the things in our lives that continue to fuel our fear.
