We bring you today’s message from Pastor Creflo Dollar, which is titled “How to Defeat Fear: Pt. 2: Episode 3.” The text for the message is from Galatians 3:22.
Pastor Dollar teaches us in this episode that the highest kind of faith is rest, and rest becomes the authentication of your belief. How do you know that you believe what Jesus believed? Jesus believes that we are healed, and when we believe that, therefore, we are healed. We should live by the faith of Jesus Christ; we are to have faith in the faith of Jesus. As a Christian, when you have faith in your own faith instead of relying on Jesus, things will be hard and you will be frustrated. We have to stop trying to manufacture our own grace; instead, we should depend on the grace that Jesus has made available for us.
The blood of Jesus Christ has made it possible for us to be successful, healed, and delivered. The Holy Spirit lives inside of you, and in him you breathe; God is now functioning through our body. When we give our lives to God, he makes us a new creation, and our old selves have to pass away. When you are a new creation through the Holy Spirit, it’s going to affect your soul and influence your actions. When you turn to the new creature that’s never existed before, you won’t be able to give yourself the glory, but you will give it to God because that’s the Lord’s doing.
We have to retrain ourselves and our thinking by always having faith in what Jesus has already caused to happen. We have to learn how to live and think by always having faith in what Jesus has already caused to happen. We have to learn how to rest, knowing that Jesus has taken care of everything. We need the Holy Spirit to burn off the self-confidence that is inside of us; we have to have confidence in God. We live by the faith of Jesus Christ, which means that we live by all of the finished works of Jesus Christ.
