We bring you today’s message from Pastor Creflo Dollar, which is titled “Living Life on a Divine Plane (part 2).” The text is from Philippians 1:6. “Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day Jesus Christ comes.”
If you are not careful in life, you’ll become this moral person without Jesus. To achieve high moral standards with a wrong attitude is not what a believer should do. In a lot of cases, you’re moral so you can gain validation from other people; there’s motivation behind your being moral. People should stop being moral for the validation of other people; we should be moral because we are Christians.
Being good with God does not count; the beginning of the work in our lives is being saved by grace. The work’s purpose is to discipline us through grace. God will never save someone and leave the person to finish the work by themselves; God will finish the work.
There is a divine plane that grace wants us to live on, and there are high standards of life that God desires in those who are taught by grace and come from the discipline of grace. There is a high standard of living that comes with understanding grace and the discipline of grace. We have to know that it’s amazing how God, through the Holy Spirit, changes your desires. The Holy Spirit is working in us and changing our desires, which is the area he works on.
Being morally good is a good thing. Depending on how you achieved it, we have a moral obligation to do certain things. We are to fulfill those obligations through God’s grace; we must understand that morality apart from Christ is meaningless, because there must be a reason for you to do so. If it starts with the wrong motivation, it may stop because of the wrong motivation. The main purpose of grace is to produce in a believer life on divine plane and to live according to will of God.
