We have a lot of things we can worship God for. In the Old Testament, you had to go to a certain place to worship God. We have to be grateful for the things God has done for us and worship him. As Christians, we should not be afraid to give up what God has given us.
A lot of times, when God asks us to do something, we are too afraid to give it up because we think that’s all we have. When God asks you to do something, he wants to know how much you trust him. God wants to take us to a place where we have to realize that he’s the one who takes care of us. We should be able to worship God and not be afraid to give to him all that we have.
God wants us to know his value in our lives so that we are able to walk, talk, and spend time with him. God wants us to have a personal relationship with him.
The Old Testament provides a pattern of worship that differs from the New Testament. We are New Testament Christians, and we should be living according to the new covenant of God. The New Testament is the contract Jesus ratified with his own blood. The old testament of worship was outward and body-oriented; they could not worship with their spirits. If the devil wants anything from us, he wants us not to worship God with our whole hearts. Worship is a big deal to God, and it should be a big deal to us. In the new testament, there is a new pattern of worship: Thanksgiving should be offered to God.
