Creflo Dollar: What to do When Life Knocks You to the Ground

We bring you today’s message from Pastor Creflo Dollar, which is titled “What to Do When Life Knocks You to the Ground”. The text for the message is from 2 Corinthians 12:9, and in this message, Pastor Dollar talks about the eighth (8) sign of emotional maturity.

Pastor Dollar pointed out that people who are emotionally mature are the ones who believe in themselves. Although we are trained to depend on God, there is a part of emotional maturity that says to believe in yourself. He says that you are going to believe in yourself based on what God has to say about you.

He further pointed out that emotionally mature people do not have a false sense of self that is ego-based. What they have instead is optimism in their God-given ability to establish the belief that they are equipped to deal with whatever life has to throw their way.

Preaching from Philippians 4:13, Pastor Dollar teaches us that what the verse is telling us is that we have to have the confidence that no matter what we are going through, we are not alone. Also, from Romans 8:28, we see that all things work together for good for those who love him. It is God who takes the bad pieces of our lives and creates something beautiful out of them.

Further, Pastor Dollar points out the need for us to be freed from the approval addiction and get on to believing in our God-given confidence.

“Do not allow someone else to determine your value when God has already determined your value.”

This is a message that you will enjoy.
