We bring you today’s message from Pastor Creflo Dollar, which is titled “When Will I Be What God Says I Am? (Episode 2). ” Philippians 2:13 says, “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases.”
Pastor Dollar teaches us in this message about waiting on God and believing him. We have to always keep in mind that God has a plan for us when we’re going through hard times. Only he can work out the plan for us, and we have to depend on him with all our hearts. We should not allow ourselves to be troubled by trouble when we have God in our lives. God is working in you now. What is he doing? What is the work? We have to let God do that work; we should stop being more concerned about the trouble in our lives. We get so carried away with our troubles that we forget the good works that God has done in our lives in the past. No matter what we go through in our lives, we have to know that we’re not going alone; we’re actually going with God.
You may be doing something that’s not pleasing him, but hold up God’s work in you; he is changing your desires. It’s going to be very difficult to do something when there’s no desire to do it, and God knows that God knows when there’s no desire to go to church and no desire to please God and pray. God is working in you, giving you the desire to replace what you didn’t want to, and that takes some work. God knows how to change our desires to do what pleases him with all our hearts.
