All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

Eleven-year old Rosalind Smith went to a revival meeting where the speaker, Alfred Sandham, invited those who wanted to receive Christ to stand. Rosalind was afraid of what her family would say. She went home confused. That night in bed she prayed, “If You let me live until the meeting tomorrow night, I will confess You as Lord.” The next night she rose as soon as the invitation was given. A family member said, “Rosalind, I don’t understand why you stood up. No one can be certain God has saved him.” But Rosalind knew that Christ received her.
The next day, she asked God to show her a verse. She began reading John’s Gospel and came to John 6:37. It was the beginning of a life of evangelism. Rosalind later married Jonathan Goforth and served with him as a missionary in China.
The objective of discipleship is to become better witnesses for Christ. When you receive Christ, He will give you verses, which will naturally overflow into the lives of others.
The spirit of Christ is the spirit of missions. The nearer we get to Him, the more intensely missionary we become. – Henry Martyn
