Dr. Dharius Daniels: I’m Outside // For The Streets Part. 3

Dr. Dharius Daniels shares this message titled “I’m Outside // For The Streets Part. 3,” and it is a message you will love to listen to. The text of the message is from Luke 10:30. “Jesus said a man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him, and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed him by on the other side. A Levite came to the place and saw him pass by on the other side. But while traveling, a Samaritan came across the man and took pity on him.”

Pastor Dharius teaches us in this message that anytime you’ve been wounded, the enemy wants to use your wounds to make you so wounded that you won’t tend to the wounds of others. No matter how much we have been wounded, we can try and help other people who are also wounded. Pastor Dharius asked a question: “Is it just me, or does it seem like God has a tendency to strategically withhold information? I’m in no way saying he is deceptive; I am saying he uses discretion. It’s probably wise because God knows that if we knew everything, some of us would not say yes to the purpose he has for us. The Bible says there is a great and effective door that is open for you and me, but there are many adversaries. We would have been concerned about making it through the adversity, not realizing that God was using the adversity to make us. There is something about our journey in life that God will not tell us in the beginning because most of us might get scared of the challenges. Challenges in life are meant to teach us and make us stronger, not to make us afraid. We can overcome anything in life with the help of the Holy Spirit.
