Pastor Dharius continued with the teaching about taking ownership and why it’s important that we know about taking ownership. We have to know that the life that our Creator God intended for us is to be great. It’s revealed in John 10:10 when Jesus says the thief comes not but to still kill and destroy, but I’ve come that you may have life and have it to the full and have it more abundantly, not just abundance in life but abundance of life, not the quantity of things you have in life but the quality of your life.
We have to know that there are three ways we can live our lives: sinking, surviving, and thriving. Many of us are trapped in life so that we don’t live it to the fullest. Frequently, God lets you live on whatever level you settle for because he loves you too much to force you into something you refuse to do.
Love leads, but love doesn’t force right, and so he will respect your choice even if your choice is choosing a life that is less than his best. even if your choice is choosing a mate that’s less than his best, even if your choice is choosing a profession that’s less than his best, or even if your choice is choosing a spiritual life that’s less than his best. Thrive is for people who want to thrive because they realize that God is enough. If we make better choices, we’re going to have better lives that serve others and glorify God, but those choices are going to be predicated on the quality of the information that’s informing them.
