Pastor Dharius teaches us in this message that hunger will make you go hunting. We have to be hungry for something before we go hunting. God is not just a god of power; he’s a god of principles. Principles are rules of operation for a thing that come from the creator of that thing to ensure the protection, preservation, and productivity of that thing.”
God is the God of principles, and when principles are ignored, abuse is inevitable. If we ignore God’s principles for our body, mind, and heart, abuse is inevitable. Power is assistance, but the principle is the avenue; it is the path to what God promises; that’s God giving you direction on what he declares. You don’t get peace just by praying; you get peace by following principles: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind stayed on him.” You don’t get that by praying for it; you get peace by placing your mind on the right thing (God). You can’t place your mind on something that’s not peaceful and expect to get peace.
We don’t get amazing relationships by praying; we get them by following principles, and we don’t get stable resources by praying. Our potential is tied together by our awareness of and implementation of principles. The enemy understands this, which is why he aggressively attempts to keep us uninformed. He does not mind us being inspired as long as we’re uninformed. The Devil does not mind us being excited in church as long as we don’t learn anything while we’re there. The Bible called this zeal not according to knowledge; it doesn’t mind us being inspired as long as we are ignorant. Ignorance isn’t just the absence of information; it is the absence of accurate information, and ignorance is expensive. In areas we are ignorant about, we suffer the most. The Devil is not afraid of what we are not; he’s afraid of what we are, and we are power and children of God. Hunger for knowledge is dangerous for the devil because he knows whatever we don’t have is something you won’t be without for long because we have hunger.
