Easter Sermon by Pastor Craig Groeschel: Dealing With Your Doubt

This is the Easter sermon by Pastor Craig Groeschel titled “Dealing With Your Doubt” where he teaches that it is easy to think of doubt as a sign of weak faith but it’s not. He said that God isn’t afraid of our doubts, so we don’t have to be either. In this Easter message, Craig Groeschel created a space to deal with doubt and address questions we’ve been afraid to ask. You will learn how doubt can actually build our faith.

He said that Jesus was suffering and dying on a cross and he looked up to heaven and declared to his Father, “It is finished. I did everything that you sent me to do.” And he said, “Into your hands, I commit my spirit.” And he breathes his last. The moment that he gave his life, the earth trembled and the rocks shook, and the sky grew dark.

His disciples, the people that had left their families, left their jobs, left their comfort, abandoned everything to follow him, they were terrified. They were unsettled. They were afraid.

What happened? He said he was a Messiah, and he’s no longer alive. And three days later, according to Matthew’s gospel, “Early on Sunday morning, as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb where Jesus was buried. And suddenly, there was a great earthquake. For an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it.”
