Pastor Jentezen teaches us in this message about believing what God says about us. We have to stop believing the lies that the devil tells us. We should know that God has a great and beautiful plan for us; we have to believe that “the marriage is strong, my children are strong, my faith is strong, and my home is strong.” No matter how we are feeling, what we are sensing, or what our emotions are screaming, we should believe the report of God. Mark chapter 5: The woman with the issue of blood was sick; she had used all
of her money going to doctors, and they could not help her, and then she said within herself, “If I can but touch the hem of His garment, I will be made whole. The miracle didn’t start until she started saying it, and when she said it, God said, I was waiting on that; I’ll form it; I’ll fashion it; I’ll stop Jesus.” Hundreds of people are touching him, but only one of them said, “If I can but touch the hem of his garment.” We should have the kind of strong faith about the woman who issues blood. She did not believe what the doctors had told her in past reports; she believed the report of God by believing that she could be healed by touching the hem of Jesus’s garment. It was the faith that David had that made it possible for him to win Goliath. Even when Goliath was saying a lot of negative things about little David, David believed in what God said about him. We have to be careful that we don’t let negative thoughts and words have control over us; we are to believe in God more for us to live a better life.
