Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Jentezen Franklin titled, “Jesus Gives What’s Missing.” In this message, Pastor Jentezen tells us that some of us don’t care or focus on Jesus until we get into an emergency. The modern church has nothing to offer a world that has no joy because we have become so religious that all we care about is our own personal righteousness and holiness. The world is dying right before our eyes, and God wants to use us to bring joy to the world.
When we lose connection with God, we need to get into the presence of Jesus and let him fill us to the brim and use us. We need to humble ourselves so that God can use us and bring joy to the world. Sometimes we are filled with pride, religiosity, legalism, self-justification, and our own holiness, and God cannot use us.
God says that when you finally get full of our righteousness and holiness, they are like filthy rags before him. We need the transformation of God, and we can only get that by getting into the presence of Jesus Christ. We need to be desperate for the presence of God. We need to become a gateway so that we can get people into the power of his presence.
When we get ourselves into the presence of God, he begins to turn weakness into power, he begins to turn something worthless into something extremely costly. The power of God’s presence can change and transform lives.
We need to get close to God and allow him to change us; we need to fill ourselves with the love of God. God can use our transformation to bring people into his presence. We need to let go of our pride, get humble before God, and spend time with him.
