Pastor Jentezen teaches us in this message that there are saints reports that we have to believe for our lives. There is another report; you don’t just have to take the first bad report; God’s word will always give you another report. We can get bogged down in negative thinking, and no matter how long we nurse a grudge, it won’t get better. You can have a grudge against life and circumstances that are so unfair that you can have a grudge against all kinds of things.
If you are not careful, you will, and you will begin to develop a negative report. This is no time to nurse a bad report, rehearse it, and disseminate it. This time of our lives is the time to reverse it and have a saint’s report in our lives. Everyone of us moving in the wrong direction has to trust and believe the report of God about our lives. The Bible speaks of a famine of hearing the word of God, but we are not participating in that in our lives. We’re going to believe God’s word and hear God’s word over everything that we’re going through. He said if you sow to the flesh, that’s not us.
You will reap the flesh if you sow in the flesh, but you will reap from the spirit the positive aspects and promises of peace and joy; that’s our report. Matthew 24 warns that in the last days there will be wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, and pestilence. That’s bad times, but then it says in the same chapter that this gospel shall be preached into all the world—that’s revival.
