We bring to you today’s message from Pastor Jentezen Franklin. This powerful message is titled, “Which Team Are You On?”. The text for the message is from the Book of Exodus 32.
Pastor Jentezen teaches us in this message that there are only two teams, and you’re cheering for one team or the other. There’s team heaven and there’s team hell. We have to know which team we are cheering for; there are two: team Jesus and team Satan. If you have not made the decision to be part of Team Heaven, then you are by default part of Team Hell. It doesn’t matter how good you are; it doesn’t matter if you’re a nice person; it doesn’t matter if you’re a moral person; if you have not received Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, you’re not a part of the Kingdom of Heaven.
We can only be on “team heaven when we accept Jesus Christ as our savior. We can tell what team you are on by the way you dress, which is especially important during the summer. The way we dress is really important, and we should be careful not to end up in team hell. There ought to be some modesty about us; we ought to have fun and all that, but you ought not to go into 7-Eleven with your cheeks hanging out because people can tell what team you’re on if you’re putting it all out there.
As Christians, we are to be different and represent God in everything that we do. The more culture gives in, the more the church gets silent and gets canceled, and the more it makes me want to proclaim that for me, in my house, we will serve the Lord, who’s on team Heaven. We have to accept Jesus and know our identity and worth in him; we have to choose the team we are on.
