If we’re creating a negative atmosphere, that’s going to attract discouragement, defeat, and bad breaks. We have to create an atmosphere of praise where we’re always thanking God for what he has done for us. A faith-filled atmosphere is going to draw in favor, good breaks, and peace.
We have to pay attention to what kind of atmosphere we’re creating. We can’t complain and see breakthroughs. We can’t reach our potential if we go around talking about how things are not going to work out. A negative atmosphere will put an end to our victories.
When God hears us talking about his greatness and praising him when we could be complaining, that’s when God will step in and take control of everything. When we praise God, we are enthroning him; we are erecting a throne for God. We should go through life being grateful and being good to people. When we face challenges that seem too big, we might get tempted to worry and complain, but the best thing we can do is give God praise.
We need to switch over to praising; that’s what attracts the most powerful force in the universe. Pastor Joel said that the Bible says that our praise goes up as a sweet-smelling aroma before God. When we praise God, we emit an aroma that attracts God. We have to understand that complaining will not change anything, but our praise will. We should learn to be joyful, grateful, and have a good attitude. We must not allow our grumbling to prevent us from reaching our full potential. The enemy can’t stop us; the only one that can stop us is ourselves. None of these things will attract God if you live a negative, bitter, jealous, or worried life.
