Joel Osteen Devotional March 5 2021 – Days of Acceleration

Amos 9:13, NKJV

Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed.

The prophet Amos was saying there’s coming a time when a man will be out plowing the field and sowing the seed, but the harvest is coming up so fast, the growth has so sped up that the harvest pops up as soon as he sows the seed. The plowman can’t keep up with it. Typically in those days, the plowman would have to wait seven to eight months once he sowed the seed for the harvest. But Amos said the day is coming when it’s going to be simultaneous. As soon as you sow the seed, the harvest will begin to spring forth. I believe you and I are living in the day Amos talked about. You’re sowing the seed, doing the right thing. It should take months, even years, but as soon as you sow, the harvest is there. Blessings are overtaking you, favor that you didn’t deserve. It’s not the usual process. It’s not going to be what’s been in the past. God is in the acceleration business.

Father, thank You that You can make things happen faster than I could ever imagine. Thank You that You can accelerate my harvest, accelerate my deliverance, and accelerate my healing. I am believing that blessings are overtaking me even now. In Jesus Name, Amen.
