Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Joel Osteen titled “It’s Already Defeated.”
Pastor Joel teaches us in this message that what you’re up against has already been defeated. Because you belong to God, nothing can keep you from His promises. We have to know that God’s promises will never change, and we have to learn how to trust God when we are facing difficulties in our lives, knowing that our God is bigger than anything we are facing.
We all face situations that should hold us back, but because of what we’re working out, they don’t. The opposition is stronger; it is easy to live in fear.It’s easy to be intimidated, thinking that nothing will workout In 1 John 4, it says, “Because you belong to God, you have defeated the enemy.” God is not in heaven fighting with the enemy, trying to free you, heal you, and deliver you; the battle has already been won 2000 years ago. When Jesus came out of the grave, he defeated everything that could hold us back. Jesus took care of everything once and for all. The Bible says that Jesus rendered the enemy powerless.
Because we belong to God and are his children, we have already defeated the enemy. Anything we face in life, we have to see it as defeated; we have to pray from victory, not for victory. We have to know that we are already healed, free, prosperous, and victorious because we are children of God. Our enemy is defeated. The Bible says, “He goes about as a roaring lion, but he’s not a lion; he can’t overpower and control your destiny. He’s loud; he’ll roar negative thoughts, but we are stronger than him because Jesus has defeated everything.
