Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Joel Osteen at the Lakewood Church Sunday Service titled “Super Bloom Season.” The text is from Genesis 50:20.
Pastor Joel teaches us in this Sunday service that we all have difficulties, health issues, and trouble at work, but we don’t have to believe that is going to be permanent. All those challenges in our lives are a sign that a super bloom is coming; we are going to see opportunities, favor, and relationships. Most of us don’t like the rain (challenges); it’s uncomfortable, but the rain is necessary for us to bloom. There is a seed inside of us that will show up when we go through excessive rain. Rain may seem like a setback, but it’s setting us up for good. The other side of the difficulties in our lives is a favor that we have never seen. It may be raining in our lives now and everything is getting worse, but don’t get discouraged because there is a super bloom in our future.
If we have faith in God, we are going to come out of the lack in abundance and overflow. We are going to see the hand of God doing great things. God is going to give us healing, get us out of loneliness, and give us joy, peace, and victory. We should not let the challenges fool us; that’s not how our story is going to end. We have to believe that no matter what we are going through, we need to have the right perspective and thank God for the great favor that is coming. There are seeds and promises that are inside of us. We may have given them up, but the seeds are still alive. Prayer is the seed that we have sown, asking God to turn the situation around and bless us. When things do not happen according to our schedule, we get discouraged and think that it’s not meant to be. We have to know that those seeds are still alive. There are prayers that our parents and great-grandparents prayed and believed; they were faithful, but they did not see it come to pass, but the prayers (seeds) are still alive.
