Theme For Joyce Meyer Devotional June 20 2020 – In the Waiting
Waiting for God to do what only He can do is one of the most difficult parts of faith. Our timing and His are usually two completely different things. He promises to never be late, and even says that He’s not slow as humans define slowness (see 2 Peter 3:9), but He’s usually not early, either…which means that many times we have to wait. And since we need to wait, it’s important to wait with a good attitude and trust that God’s time is the right time.
As you’re waiting on God, expect something good to happen at any moment. That will help you avoid feeling miserable, and to actually enjoy the wait.
Prayer Starter: Father, please help me trust Your timing, even though it feels like things are taking forever. I choose to believe and expect that You’re working, and that something good is coming. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
