God anoints normal, everyday people to live supernaturally in a naturally frustrating world. He wants you to be a doer of the Word and not only a hearer. He’s asking you to stop merely telling people Jesus loves them, and start being Jesus to them. When you’re willing to get out there and shine, eventually His light will swallow up the darkness in your sphere of influence.
The best way to show the love of Christ is to teach by example. People in the world want to see Christians who live good, clean lives. They want to be able to trust someone. And as believers, it’s our job to pass along the principles of godly living and the love of Jesus. The best way to “teach what is fitting” is to be a shining example of a victorious Christian.
Prayer Starter: Father, please help me be that solid, loving example of Jesus that those around me need right now. Thank You for equipping me to be Your hands and feet to people. In Jesus’ name, amen.
