Theme For Joyce Meyer Devotional October 25 2020 – In His Time
God moves in His timing, not yours. He is never late, but He’s usually not early either. He’s often the God of the midnight hour—He sometimes waits until the last possible second before He gives you what you need. Before He intervenes on your behalf, He has to be sure you’re not going to take matters into your own hands and do something out of His perfect timing.
We all need to learn to trust God’s timing, but first our tendency to try to make things happen on our own timetable have to be broken so that He’s free to work His will in our life and circumstances.
I want to encourage you: If you’re waiting for something, set aside your own plan and thoughts of how it might happen. Trust God and believe that while you’re waiting for your breakthrough, He’s doing a good work in you that will bring a beautiful harvest later on.
Prayer Starter: Father, please help me trust You more with the timing of the dreams, prayers and hopes that have been in my heart for so long. Thank You that You’re working to bring about Your plan for me, which is so much better than mine. In Jesus’ name, amen.
