Jesus can multiply the resources that we have if we are willing to do the right thing with what he has given us. We all have resources like time, money, and energy.
A lot of people are tired of life because they have wasted a lot of their energy on things that are not important, and now they don’t have the energy they need. “The more you move, the more you can move.” No matter what your age is, you’re going to get older, and you want to have energy left in the latter years of your life so that you don’t feel bad all the time. We might be overworking ourselves, not exercising, and not doing the right things.
We all have a certain amount of energy; some have more than others, but we need to manage that energy well. Being mad takes a lot of energy, and it will wear you out. Worry is another thing that will just make you so tired. Wrong thinking, being judgmental, and being negative are all things that are not approved by God, and they do take energy. We’re not going to be happy if we don’t follow the precepts of God; if we’re doing things that he doesn’t approve of, it’s going to steal our energy, and we’re not going to feel the way that we would like to feel. We can pray for healing all we want, but God wants us to do what we need to do in order to have good health.
We don’t need time and energy to be upset; Jesus has given us his own special peace, and we have to stop allowing ourselves to be disturbed, fearful, and intimidated (John 14:26–27). We don’t need to pray for peace; we already have it inside of us as a gift from God, but we have to make a decision to live in a way that peace can be released.
