The text for the message is Genesis 15:1–4.
We have to know that God talks to us. Throughout the Bible, God speaks to his people, and we are no different. When we have a vision or purpose in our life, but God is telling us not to give up, all God wants us to do is believe him, no matter how impossible it seems. We must never lose sight of our vision, dream, or purpose in life.
It’s time to remember the extraordinary things that God wants to do in your life. There will be a testing ground in our lives. God wants to know how faithful we are. If you want God to do extra-ordinary things in your life, you have to learn how to be patient. One thing about God is that he’s not in a hurry. God will test you, and it might seem that what God has spoken to you will never come to pass. There are times, against all odds, that you need to trust God more.
You might not understand anything, and it hurts, but trusting God is the solution; we need to let God use us. You have to understand how important you are in the house of God. Not everyone is called to teach from the pulpit. From our behavior, we can preach God’s word no matter what we do. You can minister to your neighbor, co-workers, classmates, and everyone else through your behavior. Be kind and happy to others; sometimes it is better to live it than to talk about it.
We preach more through our actions than through our words; the best we can do with our mistakes is learn from them; we can’t go back in time and fix them. We should not let fear rule our lives.
