Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Joyce Meyer titled, “Is it enough?” Pastor Joyce teaches us not to try too hard to live a Christian life on our own, but rather to let Jesus do the work for us. No matter how hard we try with our own strength, we will not make progress. We have to give up trying to live a Christian life and let Jesus do it through us.
The biggest question that people have is, “What can I do?” We can never do enough, but the point is that we don’t have to do good in order to earn something from God that he has already provided for us as a free gift. We should wake up every day and do our best not to succumb to the temptation to seek something from God but rather to express gratitude for what he has already done for us.
We should do good things to express our gratitude to God for the wonderful things he has done for us. We should not do good because we want to get something from God. God will lead and guide you when you have good intentions of loving and obeying him. We have to fall in love with Jesus and let him love up on us. We have to believe what he says in the Bible.
As Christians, we should do the best we can every day, but we have to know that we’re going to fall short. We need to ask God for forgiveness, and he will give us mercy. The truth is that we should be passionate about pleasing God and falling in love with him without expecting to earn something from him. God wants us to serve him because we love him so much, not because we want something.
We should try to do what’s right because we love God, not because we think of things as obligations. When you fall in love with Jesus and let him love you, stop trying to hide what you’re not from God because you are no surprise to him; he knows everything about every single one of us.
