“Your self-image, meaning how you see and think about yourself, is very important, so I believe it is worth taking some time to consider. What others think of you isn’t nearly as important as what you think of yourself.

We are not to think as the world does, but we should learn to think as God does, according to His Word.
Jesus says that:
– He accepts us unconditionally based on faith alone.
– He never rejects us if we believe in Him.
– He loves us unconditionally.
– God’s love is a gift. Our salvation and everything else we receive from God comes not by our works, but by His grace (goodness).
– We are to love other people, not compete with them.
– We believe His promises, and He provides.

The world says we should strive to get to the top, but God says the first will be last and the last will be first (Matthew 20:16). True promotion comes from Him. Our value is in nothing we can do, but in Christ!”
