Joyce Meyer solicits support amid Mississippi tornado

Joyce Meyer solicits support for Mississippi Tornado victims while disclosing the relief groups they have partnered with to provide relief.

The president of Joyce Meyer Ministries has in an Instagram post, beseeched concerned individuals to help those affected by the recent massive tornadoes that hit Mississippi through Meyers outreach. “You can help those Impacted by the recent tornadoes in Mississippi.” Meyer said putting down a link ” Joycemeyer.org/disasterRelief.

Revealing that the disaster destroyed properties and claimed about 24 lives, Meyer noted that her ministry sympathizes with the victims. “Last night, massive tornadoes hit Mississippi, leaving a trail of destruction on their part, and killing at least 24 people. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this tragedy”.

According to a live update from Washington Post, more than a dozen tornados swept through Mississippi and Alabama. They went on to disclose that the tornado claimed 26 lives and destroyed more than $1 million worth of properties. The US president, Joe Biden however reportedly approved a major disaster declaration for Mississippi.  Support from local and national bodies was also called upon to assist the victims.

Consequently, Joyce Meyers Ministry disclosed that they have partnered with Eight Days of Hope, Gods Pit Crew as well as Mercy chefs to provide relief for those impacted. “We are partnering with @eightdaysofhope, @godspitcrew, and @Mercychef to provide support to those impacted by this disaster.” Meyer wrote,

Furthermore, She disclosed that Mercy Chef would be serving dinner the next day. Eight Days of Hope would help in recovery efforts. God pit crew would be sending blessing buckets and other vital items. They also would be sending a team to remove rubbles the following week.

Finally, Joyce Meyer solicits for support of Mississippi tornado victims the second time, adding that the support would be used for future occurrences.
