Discovering the Jewish Jesus shares this message by Rabbi Schneider “What Spirit Lives in You?” where he calls our attention to the the passage “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” – Romans 8:11
He said that one of his favorite scriptures is from the book of Romans 8:11. He first of all focused on the first part of this scripture. “If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you…” Now to have the spirit that raised Yeshua from the dead dwelling in you, this is our inheritance. Paul tells us in the book in the book of Ephesians that we’ve received the Ruach HaKodesh as a pledge of our inheritance. So if you’re a born again, if you have received Jesus, you have literally become a partaker of the resurrection spirit of divine life.
The spirit that raised Yeshua HaMashiach from the dead, the spirit, beloved one that raised Jesus of Nazareth from the dead lives in you. It’s a reality. The spirit that lifted Yeshua off the ground so that the disciples literally saw Him ascend into the air on the book of Acts and disappear into the clouds, that spirit that lifted Him up, beloved one, lives in you.
